Loose Cabinet Door or Broken Latches

Please read below on how to, prevent damage, readjust latches for optimal operation or order replacement latches.

  1. Make sure that your drawer latches are closed before driving your van. Push each drawer and cabinet tight before taking off.  If there is excessive weight in the drawer it may be sagging causing the latch to disengage. Once a drawer or cabinet slams open or shut damage may be caused and may need to be repaired before the latch will close efficiently.
  2. Adjust drawers. After use sometimes drawers may settle and just the slightest change can prevent the latch from connecting properly. Adjustments can be made to provide the best latch connection. Please view this video for drawer adjustment instructions.
  3. Quick Fix. Sometimes a drawer or latch may get slammed shut and the latch isn't broken, just pushed in. With a tool, screw driver, or small strong instrument of some kind, it can be popped back out.
